Horizons in Sight
30 new paintings, from the 100-day project, exploring the beautiful and memorable horizons I’ve experienced. These are cropped smaller than the original 6”x6” square painting, showing just a snippet of each.
Day 1
The excitement of this 100 day challenge again is overwhelming…then again, ask me in 50 days how I’m doing.
Humble Beginnings
I knew I wanted this one to be the first in this challenge. I love how fast the sun sinks into her slumber and the sky gets charged with the most beautiful range of corals, pinks and plums, silhouetting the low-lying clouds in the distance. A beautiful moment.
Night Journey
This sky in real-time kept changing its colors ever so subtly as each second ticked by. We sat there in awe, sipping wine, feeling the warm breeze and exhaled…washing the dust of the day…away.
Day 11
So far, this is my favorite painting in this challenge.
Day 14
I painted this for February 14, in honor of Valentine’s Day…Sky for Lovers and it sold almost immediately.
Special Moments
I wanted to honor a special moment in time when I experienced this sunset. The sky was ablaze with crimson reds, and apricot orange yellows. It was surreal, almost simulated in feeling. Gosh to go back and see this again!!
Day 7
The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful. e.e. cummings
