Sometimes you just HAVE TO PAINT!! This moment was filled with electric energy and that blue was stunning. It changed in seconds as all skies do. I knew I just HAD TO PAINT it.🎨

The weekend went haywired, so here are days 7-10 as I catch up for the 30-day drawing challenge. I enjoyed them all:
Day 7: 3 different grips, loved the results 
Day 8: 3 different widths of tools
Day 9: draw with right hand, then left hand, then rig
I am doing the #drawwithdebbie2026 30-day challenge with @drawwithdebbie and this is stretching me in so many ways.
Day 6 is my favorite approach so far. Using homemade charcoal from our fire pit this weekend, oil pastel, a woody pencil and eraser. I

I loved playing with these drawing oils from @rfpaints yesterday. They layered, smudged and drew like butter. You can scrape away and draw over the oily surface with graphite and charcoal. They were a dream to create with and thoroughly enjoyed sketc
The week between Christmas and New Years - the quiet week. I enjoy reading, movies, napping, painting, and drawing with loads of coffee and tea. This mini book haul is from Lakeville Stationery and Books in Great Barrington, MA 📚 Enjoy!!
